As a native of Overland Park, KS, Regan Simeon (she/her), began her pre-professional training at Above the Barre Dance Academy (Lenexa, KS), and Artists Revealed Dance Company (Kansas City, MO). She is currently in her third year at Texas Christian University, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Modern Dance, a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communication and a minor in Arts Leadership and Entrepreneurship. Regan has performed works by Peter Chu, Mark Morris, Keith Johnson, Morgan Williams, Elaine Kimble, Maddi Burg, Matt Luck and Hailey Hoffman, amongst others. She has completed intensives at SALT Contemporary Dance and Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and has previously worked for the Joffrey Ballet School as a Social Media and Marketing Intern. Most recently, Regan was a part of the inaugural class of the Jacob’s Pillow Winter Intensive led by Maleek Washington, where she was able to receive training from Maleek Washington, Mike Tyus, Rena Butler and Tamisha A. Guy. Regan has training in Graham, Horton and Límon techniques, as well as experience in ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, heels, and improvisation and composition.
